  • On March 29th, Speaking in Tongues will be featured at a CONGRESSIONAL BRIEFING on language as a 21st century skill at the Capitol, co-hosted by ACTFL and P21.    
  • Later in the spring, the NATIONAL EDUCATION ASSOCIATION is bringing together representatives of key organizations at their D.C. headquarters to create a strategic campaign using Speaking in Tongues to create more opportunities for students to become bilingual. Stay tuned for details on how you can get involved.   
  • Speaking in Tongues was one of 8 films featured at REEL EDUCATION in New York this past February. Working Films, The Fledgling Fund and Chicken and Egg Pictures brought together representatives from 75 education organizations to encourage working partnerships. Check out these great films, all jumpstarting vital conversations about education today.

Curriculum for Non-Native English Speakers

We've just posted a curriculum developed by the City College of San Francisco for using Speaking in Tongues with high intermediate or advanced English language learners new to the U.S. school system. Check it out.
